PRAGATI is a registered charitable society working for the health and dignity of the poorest communities of Western Odisha. Our current mission is the prevention of Cancer and Kidney ailments among Adivasis and the extremely poor, through early-detection health camps carried out in partnership with government and private health institutions.

To create an enabling environment for the prevention of Cancer and Kidney ailments among the Adivasis and extremely poor population of Western Odisha, through outreach health camps, early detection and awareness — with the support of government and private health institutions.

A Western Odisha where no life is lost to a disease that could have been detected and prevented in time, and where quality preventive healthcare reaches even the hardest-to-reach village.

Message

From the President's Desk

The district of Bargarh is burdened with increasing cases of Cancer and Kidney failure. As a preventive measure we began organising outreach health camps for early detection from November 2025.
